Specific goals are those that are clear and well defined. You know when you have reached these goals or little milestones in your life.
Measurable goals are those that can be quantified or measured. Examples could be time in seconds for 100m race or length in meters in long jump. In academics you can set a goal of cracking a competitive exam. In a personal relationship, you can set the frequency with which you will contact important friends and relatives.
Achievable goals are those goals that are not too high or beyond your capabilities. At the same time, they should be difficult enough to keep you motivated to reach them.
Relevant goals keep your journey smooth and short. You must make sure that your goals are relevant to and compatible with your final or highest goal. If they are irrelevant, you could waste a lot of your precious time and effort.
Time-bound means you should set a time limit for achieving specific goals. This will prevent you from getting stuck in your journey.

Laziness is a vice that can make you languish at the bottom of a list of contenders. Successful people never procrastinate and do their tasks in a disciplined manner. It would be great if you regularly attend networking events and boost your connections. To keep tracking your goals, it is advisable to plan. Narrow down your goals and spend set hours on it daily and make sure that there are no distractions. It’s good to multitask but it can also be highly distracting.
